St. Louis Trip

This week Jeremy and I took a vacation with the kids to St. Louis. On the way to St. Louis Jeremy says to me "imagine 2 years ago we had no kids and now we have a backseat full." It was very interesting and somewhat stressful to be in the city with two kids under the age of two. But we managed and had a good time! This was outside our hotel. We took buggy ride from a horse named Jed. Mallory loved waving at all the people walking and Connor just enjoyed the air hitting him. He isn't much on the heat!! We had a good time but are definitely not prepared for city life. We did valet parking for the first time and that made Jeremy a nervous wreck. After three days I realized why we don't travel too far anymore!! But when we do it is nice!!!

Last but not least, we want to wish our nephew Lane a very Happy Birthday today!!! He turned 2 years old today!! We love you buddy and can't wait to celebrate with you tonight!!!

Quiet = Trouble

Tonight while I was cleaning up the kitchen I stopped for a moment and realized it was very quiet. I went to go find Mallory and this is what I found!! I was just telling my mom today that I was planning on letting Mallory be the one to decide when she is ready to start potty training. What do you think? Does this call out I want to sit in the big potty?? Ha!!

Trouble, trouble, trouble!!!!

Red Wagon

With the warm weather we have been playing outside a lot lately. Jeremy thought it would be neat to get some pictures of the kids in their red wagon because he has bets that someday they will look back and laugh at how clean and dentless the wagon is here! Geez would that be because our daughter acts just like him?? (Notice the shiner under her left eye) Mallory posing in the landscaping. She is quite the climber!
He doesn't look real comfy but he didn't seem to mind it as long as we were moving.

I always get the comment, ooh two kids in diapers!! Well, not only do we have two in diapers we have two in the same size diapers. They were laying so close together I couldn't resist snapping this close up!!

Who's who??

My nephews spent the night with us this past Friday night! Boy do they have lots of energy. We actually were able to snap a picture of all 4 of them. Connor was actually sleeping that is why his eyes are closed. I get lots of comments about who the kids look like. Recently, I have been getting several comments on how much Connor looks like Maddox. DeAnn sent me pictures of Maddox when he was 4 months old. If they didn't have dates on them I would have made everyone guess who's who!! What do you think?
It is definitely close. Minus the eye color.

And we never thought Maddox looked like DeAnn or Larry either one! Guess that proves any theory wrong.

Thanks Maddox and Gavin for coming over and staying with Mallory and Connor!

It has been awhile since I have posted! My little boy had his 4 month appointment and he weighed in at 14 pounds 8 ounces and was 23 1/2 inches long. He is getting so big. When the doctor asked if how he did on his belly we said he didn't like it. Jeremy put him on his belly on the doctor's table and he rolled right over for the first time!! Mallory had her 18 month check-up and believe it or not weighs just 4 pounds more than baby brother. He just adores her and lets her do anything to him. Tonight they were playing choo choo train.

I hope to try to do better on pictures and posts!!
