Uncle Larry and Aunt DeAnn

Today Uncle Larry and Aunt DeAnn came to visit me and Mallory. We were going to give her a bath in her bath tub but decided that a few more sponge baths would be a little more relaxing for all parties involved.

Larry took his vacation this week because Monday the 15th was my actual due date. What a loving brother, thinking of me in the hospital and taking time off. Okay, so I really think he had spoiling on his mind for his vacation. Either way we are excited to have them around. He is so good with Mallory. We are all really excited to have Christmas with a new baby in the family.

Larry is a little concerned that being called "Uncle Larry" isn't cool. If anyone has any suggestions as to what he should be called please post a comment! We would love to hear some opinions of those who know him!! Personally, I like it because if she is like we were, she won't be able to say her double l's and double r's. Thank goodness my mom named both her children with those letters!! Ha! Ha! Lar-wee and Kel-wee

Great-Grandpa Martin also came by our house to see Mallory. We don't get too many visits from grandpa so this little girl is already getting spoiled rotten. He bought her some diapers and a new preemie outfit so she has something new to wear.

Another good night of sleep had by all last night. We definitely are enjoying nights like that. Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment so it will be another day out of the house. Mallory's grandma Richardson is going to the appointment with us! We can't wait to see Miss Sara outside of I am scared the past 6 months could have brewed some cavities since flossing was not high on the pregnancy to handle list.

I haven't left a comment for a while, so now I guess I'm making up for it. I saved that one...and wasn't done quite yet.

We enjoyed our "quiet" visit with no kids...no noisy ones at least! It's too bad everyone has to work, otherwise we could just hang out like that all the time.

Give Mallory a big hug and kiss for us!

I am looking so forward to seeing you tomorrow!!!!

I agree with Deann. After we had Brayden I wished at the time we lived in a shack and was on welfare so we could just stay home with him. I think that was on one of my emotional days!

Good luck at the dentist appointment tomorrow. After having Nick I had 10 cavities to be filled. Yes 10. I had never had a cavity before that.....How much milk do they really expect you to drink when you are pregnant anyway? I thought it was enough, but my dentist told me different!

It could be worse Larry, Uncle Lawrence sounds really old.

I agree Aubrey, Uncle Lawrence is a little old fashioned!

If Mallory is unable to say her /l/ and /r/, she will have a difficult time with her name, "Mawowy". Good thing you have a speech pathologist in the family!
I am enjoying reading all your posts about Mallory. I can't wait to meet her.
