Dreaded Shots

Today Mallory had her 2 month immunizations. I have been dreading it ever since I made the appointment. They did a total of 3 shots; two in the left leg and one in the right leg. The first shot was quick and the nurse said usually babies don't cry, wrong...Mallory cried out!! By the third one, we both had tears in our eyes!! We headed straight to CVS to purchase Tylenol and when I got home and read how much to give her it says "consult your doctor." Great!! We ended up calling the Health Dept. back and talked with a nurse on call who was extremely helpful!!

So far tonight we have not had any reactions except for her spitting up after eating and being really tired. She was only seconds away from me handing her over to Jeremy when she let it all out all over the front of me!! His day will come!!!!

I took some pictures of her battle wounds!! She looks relatively happy here. I thought she would be sore but she was kicking her little legs like normal!
Showing off her Garfield bandaids the nurse put on her!
I realized as I took them off for her bath that we have to go get cool bandaids next Wal-mart trip!! How exciting, no more boring ones for this household!!

Awww...shots are no fun! I'm glad she's handling them well though. She looks cute with her cool band-aids..now she just needs a tattoo. Hint, hint!

I dreaded Madisons shots as well...I think the nurse had just as hard of a time. Unfortunately many more shots to come! BOO!!

Definately not looking forward to those! I cried when they took his blood at the hospital!
