They Come in Threes

Yesterday was not a good day for the Richardson family at all!! To begin with we were so excited because recently my washing machine went to crap and we decided to go with the new front end loader. Okay, well that wasn't why it was a bad day even though those are quite expensive. When the delivery man went to hook up the water the valve busted and leaked inside our wall!! Not good!! Plumber came out 3 hours later and was here for 2 hours and had to put a hole in our "new" drywall!! Kudos to Gene the plumber for a job well done though!! That was fixed so we started the first load of laundry! Hurray...not so fast!

#2- As I shoved a huge load in the dryer and went to start the machine it wouldn't start! You have got to be kidding me!! I called the place we purchased them and well, we have a lemon!! Not even the worse part, they can't get me a new dryer until NEXT Thursday. Luckily, we kept our old dryer to give to our neighbor/friends. Sorry Scott and Amy you don't get the dryer yet!!

#3- This is where it gets really bad!! 11:00 pm Mallory wakes up unable to breath, gasping for air, we think she is choking. I start to do the baby heimlich and Jeremy ran to her crib to see if there was anything she could have choked on. Nothing!! After phone calls to both mothers, and 3 hours later of no relief, we loaded up and took Mallory to the ER. The doctor ordered a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia and at 4 am they came back with a diagnosis...Croup! Seriously, I thought kids got that many years ago!! How has it come back? Needless to say it is the scariest thing when your child is in danger.

Hopefully, the Richardson Family luck will change directions. As for us, we will be spending this weekend homeward bound until she shows signs of recovery!

As for all of you, Happy Memorial Day Weekend!! Hope you all enjoy it!!

Oh Kelly!!! What a day!! I just wanted to cry with ya when I read it. I hope little Mallory is feeling better soon. I am thinking Robin's Ben had that when he was little.
