It is a Friday night, I have cabin fever and my husband says "I am ready to go out and do something." This would have been a typical conversation a few months ago for the two of us and we would have went and found a group to hang out with. However, obviously things have changed. We are figuring out that we are going to have to find a whole new set of activities now that Mallory is here! There is no longer a "lets get up and go out" activity anymore.
We sat there for awhile and decided that since we were now Wii Bowling pros we should take our moves to the actual lanes. We called my brother and asked if he and the boys would like to join us. Lucky for us, my parents were there visiting!! Bingo!! We now have a babysitter while we bowl and of course my parents didn't mind spoiling their grandkiddos! It turned out to be a fun time!!
Maddox decided bowling was no longer fun so he dipped into a hamburger and french fries and hung out with grandpa! He was posing with tons of french fries hanging out of his mouth in this picture. I told them both to smile and this is what I got! I was proud of dad though, he usually gives a funny face when you tell him to smile! Hmmm, wonder where Maddox gets it???

I AM glad you brought your camera. Larry doesn't seem to get into taking pictures as much as he does posing for them. He never remembers to take pictures. I did wish that I could be there. However, I was enjoying my time with the girls! See you tonight!
My how life changes. It doesn't take long to realize the activities that we used to enjoy so much don't fit so well when we become moms. It is always fun to do the family nights out, but on occasion it is definitely still fun to get out and do the things we did before becoming parents.
