Tinkerbell

This post is for Mallory's cousin Gavin!

The other day he asked me if Mallory liked her Christmas gift that he got her. If you have kept up with my posts you will remember that Gavin's kindergarten class went shopping and they were allowed to purchase gifts for anyone that they chose to buy for. Keeping the secret until Christmas, he was so excited for Mallory to open her gift.

When Gavin asked me this the other day I knew he really didn't understand that she doesn't really play with her toys yet but I couldn't break his little heart and tell him she doesn't even know it exists. However, to my surprise tonight this is the shock we got! What do I know anyway! We ordered a hutch to go with the diaper changing table in Mallory's room, so Jeremy and I were putting it together. Afterwards, I put all of her books and some of her toys on the shelves. I placed Tinkerbell on the shelf and hit the button to turn the music on. Jeremy was holding Mallory at the time and her head went straight for Tinkerbell! She loved it!
Thank you Gavin! Mallory is one lucky girl to have a big cousin like you!

Awww...how cute! She is one smart little girl, she knows what's cool! Obviously, he Gavin does too. He's giving her a head start on all that fun princess stuff.

It reminds me of the musical spongebob clock that Larry bought before Gavin was born. You know, every baby needs an alarm clock in their room. It was his Christmas gift for the baby before we even knew it was a boy. Just because it was Larry's favorite cartoon...turns out he was right. Gavin loved that thing. It is still at Mom and Dad's from when we stayed there through our move home. Thanks for sharing that story...it will surely make Gavin's day. It makes mine too!
